The entire composting cycle was set at 30 d. The compost pile was fully turned on days 4, 7, 11, 17, 25 and 30. The composting process was divided into 3 typical phases: the thermophilic phase (TF, days 1–7), the cooling phase (CF, days 7–19) and the maturing phase (MF, days 19–30).
